We are working with Spirit.

Sunday night we prayed where we should go to find people to teach. We went where we felt prompted to go. It was there we met T. We taught about the Book of Mormon, gave her a copy and made an appointment to see her again. We wanted to explain why we are here, where we came from, and where we are going to go after death [The Plan of Salvation].

Friday we had our lesson. She had read the introduction and the Testimonies in the Book of Mormon. We taught the Plan of Salvation, about the Atonement and what baptism is. We are scheduled to meet again tomorrow. At which time we will answer her question- “How are you different from other churches?”

Recent Conversation with a Gentleman Learning About the Gospel of Jesus Christ

My companion and I, through talking to the gentleman, know he wants to know if this is true or not. Conversation:

"How?" he asked.

"Like we've said before, 'testing it out.'"

"How?"

"Through following Christ and through prayer."

"Ah, you got me there. I cannot pray yet."

"You are just opening the door.  You have the key."

Useful Quote

"Do you know how important you are? Every one of youright nowis valuable and essential in Heavenly Father’s plan of salvation. We have a work to do. We know the truth of the restored gospel. Are we ready to defend that truth? We need to live it; we need to share it. We must stand firm in our faith and lift our voices to proclaim true doctrine."
