“Some of the flowers native to Japan are camellia, orchid, Japanese Plum, Japanese Maple, Lotus Azalia, Willow, Peach, Quince, Magnolia, Kinofuji, and Sakura.

"Lotus, Sakura, Orchid and Roses are very famous in Japan for the purpose of gifting and decoration. During the Cherry Blossom Viewing parties people greet each others with the bunch of Cherries.”

NOTE: “Mountains, hills and forests cover over two thirds of Japan, while residential and industrial areas account for less than ten percent of land area.”
